Texts in Time

This is a closed book exam which means you will not be able to take your book into the exam.  You will answer 2 questions.  One on drama and one on poetry. Each will test a different AO

DRAMA - The emphasis is on the different interpretations of texts by different readers. You will be expected to know a variety of viewpoints. AO4 focus

POETRY - The emphasis is upon  AO5ii focus

The weighting of assessment units for this module is:

A01 : Write fluently and coherently, following a clear argument. (6%) 

AO2ii : (5%)

A03 : Comment on the writer’s use of language and structure and form,  how it shapes meaning and its effect on the reader. (6%)

A04 :   Be able to give alternative interpretations of the novel, and support them with evidence from the text. (7%)

AO5ii: Comment on historical, social and cultural contexts.(6%)
