Best book ever read:  So many, so little time! Probably Pride and Prejudice, The Da Vinci Code, Mayor of Casterbridge (what a mixture!)

All time favourite author:  Again lots to choose from but Jane Austen, Dan Brown, Thomas Hardy.

Favourite film:  Probably Pride and Prejudice (with Colin Firth!) and also Bridget Jones (With Colin Firth) and Dirty Dancing.

Best theatre production ever seen:  Phantom of the Opera.

Mr Davies

Mr Davies is a member of the Senior Management Team and has been teaching English at The Cornwallis since 1999.

Best book ever read :I enjoyed Dracula a lot, and believe it or not thought that Homer's Iliad was good. As school books go, Catcher in the Rye is so far ahead of the others it's in a different league.

All time favourite author: Not actually sure

Favourite film: I have two favourites- The Wicker Man (with Christopher Lee - obscure British cult horror film) and all time favourite - The Magnificent Seven (finest western, best action movie and greatest film music ever!)

All time favourite author: Utterly incapable of deciding...

Favourite film: ET; Dodgeball.

Miss Lancley joined The Cornwallis in 2006.

Best book ever read:  One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Ken Kesey.

All time favourite author:  I don't really have a favourite, I like to read books by lots of different authors though I love Donne and Blake for poetry.

Favourite film:  Breakfast at Tiffany's and Grosse Pointe Blank.

Best theatre production ever seen:  When I was doing my A levels I saw a production of Shakespeare's Measure for Measure, it was the first time I'd really been to the theatre and I loved it.

All time favourite author: Does Bridget Jones count??

Favourite film: Grease 1 closely followed by Grease 2

Best theatre production ever seen: Any production of Hamlet or Jamie Wilson production at The Cornwallis.

Best book ever read: The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold

All time favourite author: Enid Blyton, but it has to be Patricia Cornwell if I'm sunbathing

Favourite film: The Shawshank Redemption, Dirty Dancing and High Society

Mrs Roberts has been at The Cornwallis since 2002  and has just been awarded AST- this means she is an advanced skills teacher (she's really good!).

Best book ever read:  Bridget Jones' Diary.

All time favourite author:  Marian Keys.

Best theatre production ever seen:  Woman in Black.

Mrs Robinson

Mrs Robinson has been at The Cornwallis since 2003, she teaches English and is also Second in the Media Department. She recently got married and has just had a beautiful baby girl called Rilley

Best book ever read: Pride and Prejudice' by Jane Austen and all of the Harry Potter books!

All time favourite author: James Patterson, Dean Koontz and J.K.Rowling

Favourite film :'The Breakfast Club', 'Seven', 'Saw', 'Pride and Prejudice' (BBC 6 hour version!!!) Anything with Brad Pitt!

Best theatre production ever seen: Absolutely loved 'Miss Saigon'

All time favourite author: Wilkie Collins.

Favourite film: Too many to choose from!  But I think Twelve Angry Men is up there, along with Sleepless in Seattle (can't beat a soppy chick flick!)

Best book ever read:  Ooh, lots... I read too many books to pick one...

All time favourite authors:  Jane Austen, Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson.

Favourite film:  Any Star Trek one- obviously!!   Science Fiction is my favourite genre.

Best theatre production ever seen:  Wicked- you've got to love that green witch!.
