Year 8 - Introduction into Key Stage 4 Homework Tasks

Week One

Create a collage of pictures/photos/song lyrics/fabrics etc that represent either the culture that you belong to or a different culture.

Week Two

Write a letter to an adult who has played an important part in your life so far, describing all the events of your life.  It could be a relative, friend, teacher, neighbour etc. 

Week Three

Create a survey to ask friends and family about their favourite films, TV programmes, magazines, media genres, and actors.  Present the findings in a table or graph. 

Week Four

Create a timeline of the events of your life – mark important and memorable dates clearly.  You could include pictures or photographs. 

Week Five

Design a new gadget/invention.  Include plans and pictures of your design as well as a brief account of how it will be made, and what you expect it to do once it is produced. 

Week Six

Write an extract from the diary of one of the characters caught up in the witch trials at Salem.
